This is a guide to better understand braids, how the hair in a braid shoud flow and overlap. I hope this helps anyone who stumbles upon it. Also, I REALLY hope it all makes sense, because I suck at explaining things.

Now Updated Version with Side view tutorial section!

Note: Along with my tutorial study braids thoroughly whether it is in real time or still photos. This kind of thing takes a lot of observation and practice.

This is excellent! Do you have any particular advice when it comes to drawing braids from a side angle? I usually end up drawing from that position, and I have far more trouble with it. XD
